Phoenix Pumped Hydroelectric Energy Storage
Phoenix PHES is a closed-loop project located adjacent to Lake Burrendong in NSW. The plant has a capacity of 800 MW and involves the construction of a new upper reservoir and a lower reservoir. An underground waterway including surge facility and shaft powerhouse are planned.
