Wierzchowice Underground Gas Storage

With a storage capacity of 1.2 bcm this is the biggest underground gas storage facility in Poland built on a depleted gas field. It comprises a 37 MWel combined-cycle power plant which feeds two 10 MW turbo compressors in summer and supports the local grid in winter.
