Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP)
South Oil Company (SOC) is developing the Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) in South Iraq with the primary objective of implementing a Common Seawater Treatment Facility (STF) and a seawater pipeline system for the supply of treated water to be used in the Zubair, Tuba, Rumaila, West Qurna 1, West Qurna 2 and Majnoon oil fields in southern Iraq.
