Niederwartha Pumped Storage Plant

The Niederwartha pumped storage plant (PSP) owned by Vattenfall is one of the oldest pumped storage plants in Germany. On account of the poor condition of the PSP, Vattenfall made a decision to rehabilitate the plant.
