Bahawalpur Photovoltaic Power Plant

The Government of Punjab dedicated 6,500 acres of land in Bahawalpur to establish a 1,000 MW solar park. 500 acres were reserved to set up the first 100 MW photovoltaic power plant. The project was intended to mark the beginning of the province’s journey towards the generation of renewable energy.
