Nam Mo 1 Hydropower Project

The project is a storage hydroelectric power plant with an installed capacity of 60 MW, a 18 m high concrete gravity dam and a 5.4 km long tunnel. ILF was able to identify major geological risks in the project area, such as karst caves and land-slides, which were not assessed in the existing feasibility report. In addition, ILF identified a potential overestimation of future energy pro-duction, as the previous estimate of energy production was based on average annual precipitation and runoff.
