Saravan Downstream Hydropower Project

For the development of a hydroelectric power project in the lower Mekong, ILF was engaged to carry out the Feasibility Study. This study is the first step of project planning and involves the development of project alternatives and preliminary optimization of the project together with an initial environmental examination (IEE). The study encompasses engineering, environmental and economic issues and is intended to serve as basis guideline for the further design and project finance. During this Initial Feasibility Study, the installed capacity was optimized using ILF’s in-house software RENRisk™.
