Nam Ngum 3 Hydropower Project
The Project (NN3) is located at the Nam Ngum River, 130 km north of Vientiane, located in Longcheng District, Saysomboun Province in Lao PDR. It is one power plant in a cascade of 5 existing or proposed hydro-power projects along the Nam Ngum River.
With NN4 & 5 located upstream and NN1 & NN2 downstream, out of which NN1, NN2 and NN5 are in operation phase. The location of the project Is near the river Mekong and the Chao Praa.
