Sindangan (Siayan 1) Hydropower Project
The Project is located in the Zamboanga der Sur Province in the Sindangan River Basin located in the western part of the Mindanao Island, Philippines.
It makes use of the water resources from the Sindangan River and its tributaries to gener-ate electrical energy to be injected into the electricity grid of Mindanao. It consists of two power plants, Siayan 1 and 2. The civil structures, as proposed by EDCOP, are located on the left riverside for Siayan 1 and right riverside for Siayan 2.
