Niagara Tunnel Project

The Niagara Tunnel Project is a 10.2-km-long tunnel with an interior diameter of 12.7 m, which allows OPG to make better use of the available water flow in the Niagara River to produce, on average, an additional 1.5 TWh per year from the Sir Adam Beck (“SAB”) Generating Stations 1 and 2.
