Lampunut Hydropower Project

The project is designed as a cascade scheme consisting of two power plants with a total installed capacity of approx. 6 MW and an average annual energy production of 26.6 GWh/a. The power plant will be developed in two stages. The downstream plant will be implemented first with a capacity of 4 MW, adapted to the energy demand of the local coal mine. The power plant includes an in-take structure with desander, about 2.8 km of free-flow canal and a powerhouse with 2 Francis turbines. The upstream power will be developed in a later stage of the project.
